Zoning a large open-plan living room with plants?
We recently moved into an open-plan apartment, and while I love the space, it feels a bit too "empty" and echoey. I want to create a natural partition between the dining area and the lounge using plants. I’m thinking about a row of tall, rectangular planters, but I’m struggling to find ones that are tall enough to actually act as a screen. Most "large" pots are still only knee-high. Does anyone have experience with using tall planters for privacy or zoning? I need something sturdy enough that it won't tip over if someone bumps into it, but stylish enough to match a high-end interior. Any suggestions on where to shop for professional-grade tall containers that ship within the country?

Zoning with plants is a brilliant move for acoustics too! You definitely need "floor-to-ceiling" impact. I’d recommend looking at the trough-style tall planters. I actually got mine from https://getpotted.com/planters/tall/ for my patio, but they would look amazing indoors too. They have these high-gloss and metallic finishes that look very chic in a modern living room. I bought three of their tall dividers, and they are heavy enough to be stable but still look very refined. A little tip: if you’re worried about them being top-heavy once the plants are in, you can add some decorative stones at the bottom for extra ballast. Check out their "extra tall" options—some of them are nearly a meter high, which is perfect for creating that "wall of green" effect you’re after.
