With the recent addition of Honey, it now represents all three of my children! Halt began following redundancy during the lockdown. I had the pleasure of working for a startup e-commerce brand for many years, but as we navigated through COVID-19 and lockdowns, many of us, including myself, were made redundant. This came at a tricky time, as my son was 9 months old and my daughter 2 years old. I knew whatever job I took next had to offer the same flexibility, which, as a working mum, is often impossible! However, the redundancy fueled my desire to start my own e-commerce business. I had the knowledge, but could I make it work, and what would my product be? After a brief chat with some friends at the stables who didn't laugh at my idea of starting an equestrian clothing brand, I set to work on the designs and launched the first products in May 2021. Since then, we've sold out of every new product we've introduced, scaled the business to a fully operational e-commerce venture, and even featured in VOGUE as an up-and-coming equestrian brand. Our children's range is a favorite for many top UK and international riders' children, and we attend every trade show we aspired to trade at. Halt is an ever-evolving brand, but at its heart, I wanted my product to be the best on the market. We're always investing in designs, ensuring our factories align with our ethos. None of our designs are heavily branded because good quality clothing stands out on its own. We invest in the fabrics and fit, letting customers shout about the clothing. You'll see three numbers after the failed plus the word "yes" or "no" * first number: if 0, means the cart was last updated or viewed over 1 hour before reaching the thank you page * second number:if 0, means the length of the summary is less than 3 i.e. there is no class information * third number: if 0, means the original cart id and the order id don't match Cart ID - the "Original Cart ID" is the ID of the user's cart when they hit the checkout button. The "Cart ID on the Thank You page" is the cart ID associated with the order. These two cart ID's should be the same . This prevents someone from faking checkout. If the two are different, check their Wix Order history and their entries. If it checks out, hit the the "approve entry" button Timestamps - these are in the format YEAR - MONTH - DAY -- HOUR - MINUTE - SECOND and refer to the last time the user made a change to their cart (i.e. when they checked out) and when they saw the "Thank you page". You would expect that they changed their cart before they saw the thank you page. Approve Entry This button will override any checks and will enter the user in the classes listed in the summary box (even if they've already been enetered). Be careful as you run the risk of entering them before they have paid if you don't follow the above checks! ORDERS This is a list of all the orders a customer has made. If the order has gone through correctly, the processed column will say "yes". If the order has been paid for, but *hasn't* been processed (ie entries missing) the processed column will say "no".
