< Back Horzehoods From saddle pads to jackets, horse body suits to jodphurs - HH are your go-to for innovative designs including their Flexi-Tab and Flexi-Badge items making it easier than ever to swap over saddle pads and competition numbers! About the Sponsor Horzehoods was established back in 2009 by founder Stacey after inventing an Intellectual Property protected 4 loop bib system for horse hoods after struggling to get one to be adaptable enough for her youngsters forever changing shape. Stacey’s love was always around innovation, horses, creating textiles with A Levels in business and customer service; originally coming from a recruitment management background. Having grown up from humble beginnings but completely obsessed with horses without her parents being able to afford them as a child her mission was always to break the mould of the equestrian industry and do things without needing financial support, it was her belief that her creative vision could overwrite lack of funds and wanted to offer bespoke unique items that were high premium quality, unique, bespoke but also affordable in ratio to premium as it was important she catered for all riders. After being diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease back in 2006 and it becoming more severe in 2012 it gave her the inspiration and push to set up her own business after working within business environments for many years. Stacey then set up with 1 small box of ideas using the sales from the first box to buy 2 more, before slowly having to move 3 times due to space; eventually settling in offices and a warehouse in Stockport, being nominated twice as a BETA business finalist and winning against other industry leaders back in 2017 and continuing on winning form with awards such as Horse of the Year Show Trade Stand of the Year, BETA and being granted design licences for many of her creations. - Red Horse Products | New E-Riders
< Back Red Horse Products Kindly Sponsoring the Prelim Senior Class How it all started Founded in 2006, Red Horse Products specialises in solutions that are effective and also support healthy tissue growth and regeneration. Our products do not contain caustic ingredients or the bulky fillers found in many mass marketed products. Our business is customer focused and from the start has been demand, rather than profit, driven. In fact the initial products were developed with no thoughts of selling them or founding a company! A client (Sam schooled and looked after event horses) had 2 horses experiencing various skin and hoof issues. None of the products on the market were helping so Sam and his Dad (a retired vet and beekeeper) developed HoneyHeel and Hoof-Stuff to try to help these horses. The results were impressive and word of mouth led to numerous requests for the products. At the same time Sam was researching and developing further products for use on his 2 barefoot event horses while working alongside his own vet, EP and farrier. As more and more pots were requested to be used on other horses we decided to setup a website and from there the company came to life! What makes us special Over a decade on and we are delighted that our products have done an excellent job in marketing themselves with recommendations from horse owners and hoof care networks spreading them from the UK to mainland Europe, the USA and now Australia. Despite the rapid growth we are determined to keep the customer at the centre of our activities and keep to our original principles: LISTEN to our customers – their challenges drive us to develop existing products further and direct our research into new products WORD OF MOUTH is the centre of our marketing strategy – we believe our product efficacy does the talking for us SATISFIED OR REIMBURSED – we know that no product is going to satisfy everyone all of the time, if you are not convinced by the product you have bought we will reimburse you. - The Husk. | New E-Riders
< Back The Husk. Thermoregulating, Breathable, and Impact Protecting Equine Product Range. About the Sponsor The HUSK was born when my Thoroughbred Tia developed lymphangitis caused by neoprene boots, resulting in permanent scarring. This inspired me to create safe + breathable products for horses. The other part of me has always been entrepreneurial, and a solution finder. Having worked for pharmaceuticals, I worked my way up the ladder to creating marketing strategies and solutions for countries all over the world, which satisfied my creative, solution orientated side. Although my mind was always searching for more solutions to find and create! My horse Tia was a sensitive thoroughbred, she couldn’t wear leg protection due to reacting to her own sweat, causing her to scar. Coming from a scientific background I enjoyed reading about medical research, and read many clinical papers that spoke of the dangers of over heating horse tendons and muscles. With both in mind, I refrained from using leg protection on my horse in fear of over heating, and searched unsuccessfully for a boot that offered protection without over heating. I also searched for a product that had been tested to prove any breathable, cooling claims that were made, and again felt unsuccessful. Whilst I was pregnant with my second child, I had come across a 3D material that boasted of being thermoregulating, and investigated into whether this material could be used to make leg protection for horses in the form of exercise boots to prevent over heating. After much discussion with professional riders and vets, and producing and rejection of samples, the first boot was made – the HUSK schooling boot. This boot has been the foundation of our portfolio, which extends now from boots to saddle cloths and rugs.
