Eligibility criteria - 
Juniors - Riders must be junior BRC members. Horses can have up to 35 BD Prelim points, 0 points at Novice level or above. Horses cannot have competed at Novice level or above BD or BRC in the last 12 months.
 
Seniors - Horses can have up to 35 BD Prelim points, 0 points at Novice level or above. Horses cannot have competed at Novice level or above BD or BRC in the last 12 months.
 
 
Rules:
This competition is run under British Riding Clubs 2025 Handbook rules unless superseded by the rules below. The current BRC Handbook and Rule Amendments document can be found on: https://www.bhs.org.uk/british-riding-clubs/brc- handbook/
Any rider under 18 years of age must have permission from a parent or guardian.
All competitors must be current BRC members to take part, however
they are not required to have a BRC Competitions Pass.
Riders who have competed in dressage for a different club already this season may ride for another club in this competition.
Horses must be aged 4yrs and over.
Refunds are via E-Riders only, when entering a class, you agree to abide by their
terms & conditions.
Once you have uploaded your video or link you may not delete or re-upload a
new video. If you have made a mistake, please email susie@e-riders.co.uk asap.
E-Riders and BRC will share details of entries as required to fulfil the competition
requirements, this will also include Sponsors.
Tack & Turnout:
Riding hats and suitable footwear with a heel must be worn. Gloves are
optional.
Spurs are only permitted for Prelim level and above.
Smart dress is required, although Christmas outfits and tinsel/decoration are
encouraged. This must not impede the horse’s way of going or compromise their
welfare.
Horses may wear boots/ bandages, and any bit is permitted.
Bitless bridles are only permitted in the specified bitless bridle class and must be
a true bitless bridle, for example a head collar with reins attached is not a ‘bitless
bridle.
Double bridles are only permitted for Elementary level and above.
Side saddles are permitted at all levels.
All saddlery and equipment are to be correctly fitted, used as intended in its
manufactured state without adaptations and must be available for general purchase.
