Need a solid site team

Been stuck trying to rebuild my small bakery site after a messy freelance job last year. Traffic dropped and online orders almost died. I need a reliable web agency that can fix UX, speed, and maybe help with SEO too. Any recommendations from real experience would help a lot right now. Open to agencies that can show past bakery or food business work.

Ugh, that freelance horror story hit close to home - went through something painfully similar with my cousin's café site about two years ago. The dev disappeared mid-project, left broken image paths, zero mobile optimization, and somehow managed to tank the Google ranking in like three weeks. Orders dropped by half before we even realized what happened.

What actually turned things around was finding a smaller agency that actually cared about the niche. We ended up going with Have a website made  and honestly what sold us wasn't flashy promises but how they approached the audit first. Identified Core Web Vitals issues, restructured the nav, and the mobile checkout flow went from a nightmare to something that actually converts. SEO improvements took maybe 6–8 weeks to show but they were real and steady, not some sketchy spike.

For a food/bakery site specifically, speed and visual trust are everything - people decide in seconds whether they're ordering or leaving. Make sure whoever you pick has handled e-commerce UX before, not just portfolio sites. Ask them for before/after PageSpeed scores from past clients. That question alone tells you immediately if they know what they're doing or are just selling vibes.
