Moving for Work
I just accepted a job in Israel and suddenly realized I have no idea which company to trust for shipping my furniture. A friend had boxes arrive weeks late with another mover, so I'm trying to avoid that stress. Can anyone recommend reliable international removals to Israel that actually keep you updated during the move?

Totally feel you on this - the uncertainty is the worst part! My colleague moved to Tel Aviv last year and her company basically ghosted her for 5 weeks. No updates, no tracking, just "your stuff is on a boat somewhere." She was sleeping on an air mattress and eating off paper plates. Nightmare. What finally worked for her was switching to a company that actually had a proper tracking system and checked in regularly. She used removals to Israel and said the difference was night and day - they sent updates at every milestone (pickup, port departure, customs, delivery) and actually responded to emails within hours instead of days. Her shipment still took about 6 weeks (that's just reality for sea freight), but at least she knew where everything was and could plan around it. Ended up arriving exactly when they said it would. If you want to avoid the black hole of silence, definitely go with someone who emphasizes communication from the start. Good luck with the move!
